Terms of Service

1. Platform Description

RideZoid is a subscription-based ride marketplace connecting independent, verified drivers with passengers for safe, private airport transfers. RideZoid does NOT provide transportation services directly and is NOT a taxi or limousine service. We are a technology platform that facilitates connections between riders and independent driver-contractors.

2. Account Registration

By registering on RideZoid, you agree to provide accurate, complete information. Riders must be 18+ years old. Drivers must meet all requirements including valid license, insurance, vehicle registration, and background check clearance.

3. Rider Terms

• Riders post ride requests through the platform
• All requests undergo admin review before appearing in the Driver Portal
• Riders compare driver bids and select their preferred driver
• Advance payment is required to secure the booking
• Funds are held securely until ride completion
• Important: In the initial phase, no passenger insurance is provided by RideZoid. Riders acknowledge and accept this responsibility.

4. Driver Terms

• Drivers pay a fixed monthly subscription of $30-40 for unlimited platform access
• No commission is charged on any ride fare
• Drivers keep 100% of fares minus Stripe/PayPal processing fees (~3%)
• Drivers are independent contractors, NOT employees of RideZoid
• Drivers must maintain valid personal vehicle insurance
• Drivers may use RideZoid alongside Uber, Lyft, or other platforms

5. Payment Terms

All payments for rides are processed through secure payment gateways (Stripe/PayPal). RideZoid does not store full credit card information. Drivers receive payouts after ride completion. Subscription fees are charged monthly and are non-refundable for partial months.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Rider Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled 2+ hours before pickup. 50% refund if cancelled within 2 hours. No refund for no-shows.

Driver Cancellation: Frequent cancellations may result in account review or suspension.

7. Safety & Conduct

All users must maintain professional, respectful behavior. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct will result in immediate account termination. Riders and drivers can rate each other after trips to maintain platform quality.

8. Limitation of Liability

RideZoid acts solely as a connection platform. We are not liable for disputes, accidents, delays, or issues arising between riders and drivers. All participants use the platform at their own risk.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
